a river under the ocean . But, is it possible in our earth???
This river located in Mexico , under the Mexico ocean. How ,can it possible , "river under sea ". A group of divers have discovered it many years ago. " CENOTE " is a Spanish equivalent of the "Maya " word for a water filled limestone sinkhole. According to Anacholi Baloshchin and a group of divers who were first ones to discover this phenomenon . This river flows 115 feet deep with flow of both fresh water and salty water. It's has both scientific and natural truths. Recently Scientists have discovered many queries and confusion abut this place.
♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️ Scientific explanation about this phenomenon :
Thousands of year ago ,glaciers covered much of the planet. As the ice age ended, glaciers melted .The ocean rose ,and fresh water was trapped in sediments below the waves . "CENOTE ANGELITA " is a collection of fresh water under the sea.
1. There is a layer of Hydrogen sulfide, which is the result of mixing of the fresh water with the salt water.Hydrogen sulfide often from the bacterial breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen. Hydrogen sulfur cloud looks like a riverbed beneath with complete large branches of trees and leaves.
2.Rain water absorbs a gas (Carbon dioxide) from the air, from a weak acid.
The weak acid dissolves a mineral in the limestone called calcite. Overtime, the limestone is dissolved and a cenote is formed.
3. This , sinkhole is a ancient place of MAYAN civilization. As, erosion continues this thin roof eventually collapses ,leaving an open, water filled hole.
Over thousands of years, erosion and earthquake gradually fills the cenote with organic and mineral debris.
So, it's a famous place on Mexico as a natural sinkhole. "CENOTE ANGELITA "
is a best reserved for open water divers who have great buoyancy control and have a long experience in diving situations.Cause, divers need to dive down to a depth of 60 metres. There's a cloud of Hydrogen sulfide, so ,they needs light before diving on the river. Experienced and advanced divers can enjoy this place,
